According to the latest reports, Chinese robotics company PL-Universe Robotics officially unveiled two new flagship products—the ProWhite Robot 2.0 and the PL-WitHand dexterous manipulator—at the “Robotics 2025 Launch and JD.com Deep Cooperation Kickoff Event” held at JD.com’s headquarters in Beijing’s Yizhuang district.

It integrates four independently developed end effectors—locking, dispensing, lubrication, and welding—and achieves multi-process integration through vision-based positioning and precision control algorithms. Also unveiled is the PL-WitHand Dexterous Hand, hailed as the world’s first “industrial-grade hybrid-driven dexterous hand.” Featuring a tendon-linkage hybrid transmission structure with up to 20 degrees of freedom (DOF), it achieves near-human operational flexibility in industrial settings. Equipped with the self-developed ProxiGrasp intelligent grasping algorithm, it automatically adjusts grasping force and angle based on object shape and material, significantly improving operational precision and safety.
