On September 26, the three-day “2025 China-Thailand Cooperation Expo” officially kicked off in Bangkok, Thailand. This event, held amid the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Thailand, attracted high-level participation from both countries. Thailand’s Privy Council President Surayud, Prime Minister Anutin, Chinese Ambassador to the Kingdom of Thailand Zhang Jianwei, and leading figures from the business communities of the two nations jointly attended the opening ceremony, underscoring the significance of the expo in deepening bilateral ties. With the theme “Hand in Hand for Prosperity and Development,” the expo serves as a critical platform to strengthen economic and trade cooperation between China and Thailand, explore new areas of collaboration, and lay a solid foundation for future mutual development. Among the participating Chinese enterprises, CSCEC Shenzhen Decoration Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “CSCEC Shenzhen Decoration”), a subsidiary of CSCEC Decoration Group under China State Construction Engineering Corporation, was invited to showcase its independently developed prefabricated building technology, presenting the wisdom and innovative strength of Chinese construction to the international audience.

Bilateral Cooperation Agreements Reach Over 6 Billion Thai Baht

During the expo, China and Thailand achieved substantial progress in cooperation, with the two sides signing memorandums of cooperation totaling more than 6 billion Thai baht. These agreements cover a wide range of key fields, including new energy, digital technology, and agricultural food, reflecting the breadth and depth of bilateral cooperation and opening up new space for joint development in emerging industries.

As a backbone enterprise in China’s construction and decoration industry, CSCEC Decoration Group and its subsidiary CSCEC Shenzhen Decoration have long been deeply engaged in the construction of overseas key projects, with their business footprint extending to Southeast Asia, the Middle East, Africa, and other regions. Their project scope is comprehensive, encompassing interior decoration, curtain wall engineering, intelligent products, and other fields, and they have accumulated rich experience in serving international markets. A notable example is the Saraburi High-Speed Railway Station of the China-Thailand High-Speed Railway—this project marks CSCEC Shenzhen Decoration’s first infrastructure undertaking in Thailand. Once completed, it will become a crucial transportation node under the China-Thailand joint construction of the “Belt and Road Initiative,” effectively promoting the flow of personnel, goods, and resources between the two countries, and injecting strong Chinese momentum into local urban construction, industrial upgrading, and economic development.

Prefabricated Building Technology Becomes a Highlight

At the expo, Chinese architecture technology, with prefabricated buildings as the core, emerged as a major attraction, drawing widespread attention from participating guests. CSCEC Shenzhen Decoration systematically displayed a series of its independent innovation achievements, among which the magnesium-wing composite panel stood out. This self-developed product boasts significant advantages such as lightweight design, high strength, and rapid assembly, making it highly adaptable to various construction scenarios and capable of greatly improving construction efficiency while ensuring quality.

In addition to the magnesium-wing composite panel, the enterprise also focused on showcasing a range of cutting-edge technologies and products, including the indoor air intelligent monitoring system, the existing curtain wall safety detection system, the mobile smart energy storage power supply, and a full series of prefabricated components. These technologies and products cover multiple key links in the construction industry, such as building energy conservation, facility operation and maintenance, and green and healthy decoration. Together, they form a complete green and low-carbon solution that runs through the entire process from design and construction to operation and maintenance, fully aligning with the global trend of sustainable development and the concept of green construction.

To allow participating guests to gain a more intuitive understanding of these innovations, CSCEC Shenzhen Decoration arranged on-site physical demonstrations and detailed case interpretations at its exhibition area. Through real-object displays, the performance and application effects of products such as the magnesium-wing composite panel were vividly presented; through case sharing, the practical application experience of technologies in actual projects was explained in depth. This multi-dimensional display method not only attracted many participating guests to stop and communicate, but also fully demonstrated the enterprise’s comprehensive service capabilities in the fields of green buildings and smart decoration, enhancing the international influence of Chinese construction technology.

Expo Facilitates Industry Exchange and Future Cooperation

Beyond the display of enterprises and technologies, the “2025 China-Thailand Cooperation Expo” also organized a number of high-value supporting activities, including supply chain forums and industrial docking events. These activities focused on emerging fields with broad development prospects, such as new energy vehicles, renewable energy, and digital platforms, providing a platform for enterprises from China, Thailand, and even other countries in the region to exchange ideas, share information, and explore cooperation opportunities.

A representative of CSCEC Shenzhen Decoration stated in an interview at the expo that in the current global context, countries are facing common challenges such as fluctuations in global economic growth and the rise of trade protectionism. In the face of these challenges, adhering to open cooperation and innovation-driven development is the key to achieving mutual benefit and win-win results. The enterprise will rely on its accumulated practical experience in green buildings and digital construction, actively participate in the construction of local sustainable supply chains in Thailand and other overseas markets, and contribute to the optimization and upgrading of the local industrial ecosystem.

This year marks the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Thailand, and the bilateral relationship has stood at a new historical starting point. The “2025 China-Thailand Cooperation Expo” not only serves as a concrete practice to celebrate the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations, but also provides a valuable opportunity for Chinese enterprises such as CSCEC Shenzhen Decoration to further expand their international cooperation networks. Through their participation in the expo, these enterprises have demonstrated their determination to integrate into the local market, pursue long-term development, and contribute to local society.

Looking ahead, CSCEC Shenzhen Decoration and other Chinese enterprises will continue to uphold the concept of win-win cooperation, strengthen exchanges and cooperation with partners from Thailand and other countries, and strive to inject more stability and constructive strength into regional economic development and global economic recovery.
